Claudia Sencer, NP-CNM, MS
Claudia came to psychedelic therapy through the California Institute of Integral studies yearlong Psychedelic practitioner training program. She was in the 2020 cohort. Subsequently she became a practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry, the trauma informed approach to therapy created from the work of Gabor Maté.
The combination of these recent trainings is informed by her forty-year history in women’s healthcare. During these years Claudia guided women through the challenges of birth as a bedside Nurse Midwife, counseled women in her practice and provided client focused, supportive gynecology care.
With a deep commitment to creating a safe and accepting presence Claudia brings a belief in our own inherent ability to find healing within. With a supportive and caring intention, she helps guide her clients to explore their inner world through the expanded consciousness experienced with ketamine therapy. Together, these understandings are explored and integrated upon the return to normal consciousness. Claudia holds a strong belief that healing comes from within, when the environment is safe, the time is right and the intention is clear.
Claudia holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Nurse Midwifery, a B.S. from New York University in Nursing, and a B.A. from Hamilton College in film and photography. The MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies) MDMA training was included within her Certificate program in Psychedelic Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies both of which she completed in 2021. Additionally, she has completed specialized training in Ketamine Therapy through Rainfall Medicine.
Claudia shares the KAP practice with Mark Farrington, her co-worker who has also been her husband since 1999. Together they have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and an abundance of love, learning and belief in our deep healing potential.
